Cabling, patch cabinet, wifi and fibre, in a home as much as in an office or warehouse. We lay the network during the electrical work, which saves a lot of breaking open afterwards.
What we install.
A network is only good if it is still enough in five years. We deliberately over-specify the cable, because that is the one part you cannot replace later without breaking things open.
- UTP cabling. Cat 6 or Cat 6A to every workstation, TV point and access point, with a spare per room.
- Patch cabinet. Neatly patched and labelled, with room to expand and enough cooling.
- Wifi coverage. Access points on fixed cabling instead of repeaters, with a survey afterwards.
- Fibre. Between buildings or floors, where copper becomes too long or too sensitive to interference.
- CCTV. IP cameras on the same network, recording locally rather than in the cloud.
- Access control and video intercom. Over IP, linked to the home automation where there is any.
- Telephony and intercom. Cabling and connection, in consultation with your telecom provider.
- Testing and handover. Every line tested, with a diagram of what comes out where.

Fixed points for TV, the study and access points, so wifi also works in the attic and the garden. Usually done together with the electrical work.

Workstations, meeting rooms and printers on structured cabling with a proper patch cabinet. Expandable without anyone having to go through the ceiling.

Wifi coverage across large areas full of steel and racking, cameras and fibre between buildings.
Frequently asked questions about data networks
For a small apartment, often yes. As soon as there are several floors, thick walls or many devices, fixed cabling to the access points is the difference between working and complaining. Repeaters halve the throughput at every hop.
Usually yes, through existing conduits, service shafts or along the outside wall. It is more expensive than during the shell stage, but rarely impossible. We look at the options on site.
Yes, switch, router and access points can be in the quote. If you prefer to work with your own IT partner, we lay the cabling and the cabinet and they connect the active equipment.
Yes, as part of the network. We install the cameras and the recording, and only in locations permitted under Belgian camera legislation. Registering the cameras remains the owner’s responsibility.
Have the network laid together with the electrics?
