Home automation you can still have changed later

Lighting, screens, heating, ventilation and access on one control system. We install and program it ourselves, so for a change later you do not have to go knocking on an external integrator’s door.

Three systems, each with its place.

Which system fits depends on the size of the home or building and on how much you want to be able to adjust later. We say honestly when home automation adds nothing.

Loxone

A central server that drives everything. Strong when heating, screens, lighting and the energy installation have to work together. Our default choice for a whole house or an office building.

KNX

Open standard, manufacturer independent. The logical choice for larger projects and for clients who do not want to be tied to one brand.

Niko Home Control

For homes where control and comfort are enough without extensive logic. Cheaper to install and simpler to use.

  • Lighting. Switching, dimming, scenes per room, presence detection in hallways and storage rooms.
  • Sun shading and screens. Automatic on sun, wind and indoor temperature.
  • Heating and ventilation. Controlled per zone, with night setback and away mode.
  • Access. Outdoor lighting, video intercom, gate and sectional door on the same control.
  • Link with energy. The control knows when the sun is producing and switches on the water heater, the heat pump or the charging point.
  • Operation. Push buttons that keep working without a network, plus an app and voice control.
Important. Home automation gets expensive when it is retrofitted. Laying the right conduits during the shell stage keeps your options open without having to install everything at once.

How we approach an automation project.

A conversation about useNot about technology

We do not ask which brand you want, but what should happen automatically and what you want to keep operating yourself. The system follows from that, not the other way round.

Design and conduit planBefore the shell is closed

Which conduits go where, which circuits have to be separate and where the cabinet goes. This is the step that cannot be corrected afterwards.

Installation and programmingBy us

We do the cabling, install the components and write the logic. No external programmer you have to pay again later.

Handover and fine-tuningAfter a few weeks

You get an explanation and an overview of the controls. After a few weeks of living there, we come back to adjust the settings to how you actually use the place.

Frequently asked questions about home automation

Yes. The control runs locally in your own cabinet. Without internet only remote operation and the weather forecast drop out; the push buttons and the automations keep working.

Often yes, but not always in full. Where we cannot pull new conduits we use wireless components or control per circuit in the board. During the site visit we tell you what is realistic.

We can, because we write the programming ourselves. You are not tied to one integrator who is the only person able to touch your installation. On request we hand over the project files.

For comfort and convenience that is a personal judgement. Financially it becomes genuinely interesting once the control also manages your energy: solar power to the right loads, heating per zone, peak demand under control.

Building or renovating? This is the moment.

The conduits only go in once. Let us take a look before the screed goes down.
